Optimal filters for continous approximation of fractional-order integrator06.08.2008
This paper summarizes the results of numerical optimization of zero/pole positions. The quadratic difference between frequency response of ideal FO operator and its zero/pole approximation was taken as an optimality criterion. The proposed new filters have very low order up to five and approximate the FO operators on two or three decade frequency band.

Ideal Bode's control loop shaping with respect to the model set approach01.08.2007
In the last decades, several interesting applications of fractional calculus appeared in the process control field. The usage of fractional elements for description of ideal Bode's control loop is one of the most promising. The ideal control loop frequency response has the fractional integrator shape and provides the iso-damping property

LTI systems identification using generalized method of moments07.09.2006
The classical method of moments uses a few first moments of the impulse response for identification of first or second order system with time delay. The presented method uses generalized moments, which are computed from the impulse response multiplied by a descending exponential. The result of this modification is that the identification utilizes only some initial part of the impulse response and therefore less experimental data is needed.

Estimation of noised signal derivetions by Kalman filter (CZ)06.09.2005

Computing value sets from one point of the frequency response18.06.2005
The aim of this paper is to present an explicit parametrization of the value set boundary for a model family consistent both with the process-control-oriented information about the class of candidate models and with one experimentally obtained point of the process frequency response. The presented results have important applications in design of robust controllers, in particular in the field of automatic tuning procedures.

Computing value sets for systems with constrained step response17.06.2005
In this paper a novel approach to the step response based design of a discrete robust controller is presented.

Robust design of Smith predictive controller for moment model set17.06.2005
The paper presents a simple and systematic procedure for automatic tuning of dead time compensating controllers (DTC)

Robust design of Smith controller for arbitrary order lag systems with dead time16.06.2005
The purpose of this paper is to develop an exact and systematic procedure for automatic tuning of both DTCs and PI(D) controllers

Fractional order system identification - method of moments16.06.2005
This paper deals with fractional order system identification for the purpose of a robust controller design. The proposed method combines two pieces of information: a priori information and experimental data.
