Control system of battery-powered flat wagon (TEBECO, UWB)

A control system for battery-powered flat wagon based on the REX control system was developed. The manipulator is able to carry the load of up to 10 tons.

The wagon is controlled by a wireless remote controller, the control system secures the wagon, provides velocity control with smooth transitions and logs the machine activity. The utilization of the REX control system allows remote diagnostics over the Internet.

The control system was developed at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen (Department of Cybernetics) for the TEBECO company (recently acquired by the HOPAX company).

HW: ALIX control unit (Linux operating system), miniPCI CAN bus module

SW: REX control system, Modbus TCP/IP driver, CANopen driver
