v2.50 HMI

Morning,

I recently installed v2.50 and I am having issues with the HMI. I have read through some of the posts in the forum but still no joy.

1)I could not find my .svg after downloading to the target device. Where would I find these files to edit?
2) When I type in http://192.168.0.???:8008 I can see the default index.html but not my custom .html files.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

Regards,

Re: v2.50 HMI

Hi Hendrik,

I'm sorry that you are struggling with upgrade to REX 2.50.1. I know that especially documentation for RexHMI Designer is far from perfect. Currently we are working hard on a new version of REX which will bring also better documentation for HMI.

ad 1) You are not able to find the .svg file on your development PC where it was previously saved?
ad 2) Try to type http://192.168.0.xxx:8008/hmi (it is not necessary if you tick "RedirectToHMI" parameter of "HMI" function block in your executive).

Documentation which may help you:
HMI function block docs
RexHMI docs

Can you describe the procedure of HMI export and download more to the details so I can determine what are you missing?

Regards, Tomas

Re: v2.50 HMI

Hi Tomas,

I created a test project + HMI and it is working.

Please see attached img, when would I need to use the "load .csv"?

Re: v2.50 HMI

Hi Hendrik,

I'm glad to hear that your test project with HMI is up and running. Well done!

The "Save/Load .csv" option can be used for export/import of whole "Connection table" (pairs of "Aliases" and "Connection Strings"). It can serve as a backup or you can transfer the "Connection table" to other HMI project.
This functionality is not necessary for usual workflow - it is sort a of special feature, let's say.

If you require any further information, let me know.

Regards, Tomas
