PSMPC – pulse-step predictive controller
PSMPC block implements predictive pulse-step control algorithm (MPC). The manipulated value has the same shape as if the process is controlled manually by humen expert. The predictive control takes into account the actuator saturations. It is suitable also for non-symetrical procesees and processes with significant dead time. In the future it can become the PID controller successor in lower level predictive control systems. See more details in the function blocks manual.
The individual licence for Matlab-Simulink is available upon request. PSMPC blocks was successfuly implemented into the control system of Teco a.s. and is employed in indutrial controllers produced by PMA GmbH (see references).
