Rapid development, real-time simulations, modelling
The REX Controls company can assist you in design, development or optimization of a brand new or existing machine or technology from individual sensors to operator interfaces (HMI). We use the modern rapid development and model-based design techniques. The REX control system is compatible with the extensive Simulink and Simscape simulation platforms and hence it is possible to continuously validate the individual phases of development. The mathematical model of the machine is created using the multiphysics component modelling technique. The repeated simulations minimize errors in the design of both the control system and the machine itself and lead directly to a functioning prototype. As a side-product, you can get a virtual model of the machine including the HMI, which can be used for training of operators or marketing purposes.

Virtual model of 800 tons pontoon including control system - model-in-the-loop simulation.
The aim was to control movement in 16 directions and be able to rotate the pontoon. It was necessary to synchronize 4 hydraulic walking units. MIL simulation helped to test and optimize all control modes.
