REX Controls develops and supplies robots with special architectures including their control systems. An example is a robot for non-destructive testing of pipeline welds in primary circuits of nuclear power plants. The robot reduces operator exposure during weld diagnostics at planned nuclear block shutdowns, as the operator simply fixes it on the pipeline and the entire weld scan process is performed automatically.
